Manchester United are still on course to sign Marco Reus – despite the attacker signing a new contract with Borussia Dortmund. United had been leading the race to sign Reus at the end of the season, when his release clause was due to drop to just £20million. However, he shocked the Red Devils this week by signing a new contract with Dortmund, which appeared to put transfer talk on hold. Yet   reports say United are ready to stump up £50million in the summer to get Reus, and Dortmund could accept. Louis van Gaal seems desperate to land the German and while he’ll be more pricy now, the switch can’t be ruled out.
